What to do in a recession

That's right, we're in a recession. How'd that happen?

Companies are closing, factories & stores are shutting their doors. What's left? I know, beauty!

Now more than ever women & men alike are resorting to something that has either been embedded inside them or just curious about. Cosmetology & Esthiology.

Just think, what other career allows you to be as creative as you want and write your own paycheck?

In as little as 6 months to a year, you could be on your way.

Hmm, what could you do with a Cosmetology license. Well, you could be a stylist. From small town to the runway. You can work at cosmetic counters & make WAY more money than an unlicensed associate. You could do freelance makeup artistry, run a home salon or work in a nursing center's salon. The options are endless just like the money & friendships you can make in this career.

Estheticians.. you could work in a spa or you can work for a dermatologist. Take an extra class or two, you could work for cosmetic surgeons(think of all the perks). If you're a licensed RN, you could become a Medical Esthetician. Again, the options are endless & so is the money and the friendships. You be the judge!

Many people are leaving Corporate America for careers that gives them more freedom & leverage. No more looking up at glass ceilings, in Cosmetology the sky is the limit!
