Suck-It-Up!
So you're enrolled in beauty school and you absolutely do the bare minimum to get thru. This is a sure-fire way to end up in one of those salons that look similar to the salon in the movie Steel Magnolia's.
Ducking and dodging clients when they come into your school for a service. Coming up with every excuse in the book will only make it harder for you when and if you graduate.
What salon owner or manager will put up with you sitting around never busy, constantly texting your friends and not bringing in any money into the salon? The answer is not too many. Especially in this economy, either you can or you can't.
No one will be there to poke and prod at you to get out of your seat and get something done, no one. No one will be there to hold your hand thru every service or to intervene when things are about to go in the wrong directions.
My best advice to you is to suck it up and be the cosmetology student YOU enrolled into your school to be. If you are attending your school on student loans, you may as well get something out of it for the simple fact you will be responsible for repayment whether you complete your program or not.
