Say you want a lovely brown with no red. Lets say that your hair is dark brown to black. How do you rid the red to get the nice brown?
YOU CANCEL OUT THE RED by using a brown hair color based with green. Yes, green. Green cancels out red, red cancels out green. Blue cancels out orange, orange cancels out blue. Yellow cancels out violet, violet cancels out yellow.
The next time you want to go platinum with no yellow, you guessed it, use a color based with violet to cancel out yellow. OR use a violet based toner to cancel the yellow tones.
Follow these and you will create beautiful color.
