BEAUTY SCHOOL

Beauty school does not have to cost an arm-and-a-leg.

The state of Illinois requires ALL schools to teach the same things. I can tell you from experience that your training will start once you've graduated and you're working in a salon.

What's more important, the color scheme and floor design of the school OR whether or not you'll have a 'clue' once you graduate?

Will potential employers hire you just because of the school you went to OR will they hire you because you have the skills they are looking for and/or they won't have to spend ANOTHER 1500hrs teaching you their signature techniques.

Are the teachers at your chosen school vets? Meaning, did they work for years behind the chair, gaining more experience themselves before deciding to go back to school to learn to teach OR did they graduate from beauty school one day and start teacher training the next?
