I wouldn't! I would use a lower volume with an oil lightener. I know to some this may sound unheard of, but there is such a product.
Oil lighteners can be used on-scalp and are much more gentle on the hair, while still having the ability to produce lovely blondes.
On your next trip to the supply house, research how many different brands of oil lighteners are available. Take one home with you and try it on your next client.
If the hair is healthy and your client is happy when they leave the salon, you're on your way to greatness!
